FACILITATING. Barbara facilitates discussions even when highly polarized. She has done this at the highest levels of government and business, and in line facilities that have become toxic to those within them. Her way of working enables participants, parties and lawyers find their way back to their own intelligence and good judgment.
Her experience includes
- Adjunct Faculty at numerous schools and colleges, including, University of Santa Clara Law School, Golden Gate University Law School, Erickson College, Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society Edmonton, Justice Institute’s Conflict Resolution Program in Vancouver, B.C.. Presenter and keynote at numerous conferences.
- Twenty-five years experience in mediation and facilitation with emphasis on highly sensitive matters as well as those that are complex and technical.
- Twenty years experience in U.S. civil litigation.
- Six years experience in coaching and in systemic modeling.
COACHING and MEDIATING. Barbara provides Individual / Organizational Transformation Coaching, bringing in where appropriate, expressive arts, mediation, systemic modeling (constellation) and facilitation of difficult and complex conversations. Here, and as a mediator, Her gift is to help others find their own wisdom and the passion to find and live what calls them. She’s part of a network of skilled facilitators and coaches.
